Aims

An immediate aim: that of putting an end, as far as is possible, to the adverse state of things that compelled — and still does — the rural populations of Africa, especially those living in the savannah, to spend hours travelling on foot or with any available means of transport to take the sick (women, old people or children) to the few places provided with hospitals or other medical facilities. The first pilot project was based on a mobile clinic, with its routes and the frequency of its visits planned in accordance with the guidelines of the World Heath Organization (WHO).
